Someone that I work with just said 'gnarly'. And they meant it. And somebody else said, in response, "I really, really had a thing for Mary Poppins when I was a kid. I still sorta do, I think." To which someone replied, "Wouldn't that mean you have a thing for Julie Andrews, since Mary Poppins isn't real?" and the previous speaker said, "No, because Julie Andrews played that atrocious Maria role, and that's not Mary Poppins." At which point someone else entered and said, "Dear God, will you all please get back to work." And then everyone laughed like they do at the end of a He-Man cartoon and faded to black. There are credits scrolling up my office wall.
