Ooh, the frustration of a bad client. They fall out of touch, then gripe at you about not staying in touch; they change your contact, and then tell you that everything the previous contact person signed or authorized wasn't approved by their organization, so they're not going to honor the contract that their ex-representative signed. I'm seeing so much red it's like my eyes have been punched backward and can only see the gritty angry hole where my brain was before it got so steamed it combusted itself into nothing. All this damned work, all this damned time, all this shit for nothing. Step right up, folks. See the little guy get stiffed again.
