Northern Nevada Business Weekly is ... well, a business weekly published in northern Nevada.
This newsmagazine's previous web site was clunk, inaccessible, and difficult to maintain, and as part of a serious membership push, they asked Mesh Creative to overhaul the entire package, and fast. If I recall, I turned the design out in a single day, and had the thing coded the next afternoon. The client required the ability to edit the site themselves, but didn't have the budget for a CMS tool, so we took the low-tech route: I buried careful instructions in the HTML, and the client has maintained the site for nearly three years with little to no difficulty.
Low-tech or not, I'm happy with the way this simple site has held up over time. The fast jobs are usually not as satisfying as this one was.
